Adam Romo is a North East London based DJ and LDN GRV founder, Adam Romo, has been gracing decks across the UK and internationally over the last 12 years. His roots lie in groove, house, funk, and disco, with influences of soul, garage, breaks, and techno in good measure.
Starting his career in Norwich, he quickly climbed the ranks to obtain a main room residency at the 2000 capacity LCR (held for 3 years). Returning to London, he founded ‘LDN GRV’ with a collective of likeminded, up and coming DJ’s. He has since thrown numerous parties under the brand at prestigious venues across the capital including Unit 58, Low Profile Studios, and POW Brixton.
As an independent DJ, Adam has performed sell-out shows and festivals across London and beyond, sharing the stage with the likes of Crazy P, Mistajam, and Dev from BBC Radio 1. Notable headline gigs include The BIG Disco at Brixton Jamm, Le Petit Danois, in Val D’Isère, France, and the world-famous Tree House Jungle Rave in Nicaragua (on the side of a volcano).
A recent finalist in the prestigious Defected Unsung Heroes DJ competition, judged by superstars Simon Dunmore, Roger Sanchez, Melvo Baptiste, Sam Divine, and the Mambo Brothers, Adam has established himself as a sought-after act in the industry.
His new Saturday prime-time residency on Passion Ibiza Radio will showcase the best and freshest digs in underground music. The show aims promote up and coming, and breakthrough artists who are pioneering new and innovative sounds that push the boundaries of existing dance music genres.
