El Carnicero

El Carnicero, translated into English is ‘The Butcher’. This would be the place for the carnivorous amongst us. It is placed just off the main road around Ibiza town. It is a very unsuspecting venue, it is very easy to miss. Even with it’s red neon signs it still doesn’t stand out. It is worth paying close attention to the exit on the right just after the pedestrian crossing before you get to the hospital roundabout. Beyond the unsuspecting whitewash walls lies a different world which will charm and excite you. Once you walk through the wooden gates of El Carnicero you will see the terrace filled with flowers and the most comfortable seating area.

They provide melodic beats from the outdoor DJ booth and occasionally live acts to entertain you. The outside bar forms part of the finca in the middle of the garden, which is filled with memorabilia. They also have a children’s play are and a canopy covering wooden decking to relax on.

It should be of no surprise that they focus on their meat at this venue, serving great dishes. Classics include their Argentinian cuts of meat and American Black Angus and also hamburgers to die for. As well as focusing on their meats they do also great fish and seafood dishes. They do cater for vegetarians with salad menus.
