Jason Dunlap

Jason Dunlap is a DJ and producer from Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Chicago and was heavily influenced by DJs and producers from Chicago and Detroit, such as Moodyman, Richie Hawtin, Derrick Carter, Matthew Dear, and Sassmouth to name just a few. His career in electronic music started in 2010, with his first few releases with Reese Turns on Punisher’s label from Detroit, HEJ Records. Jason performed at several venues and underground parties in Chicago including the iconic Smartbar. After a nearly 10-year hiatus from DJing and producing, Jason is back with a brand new recording studio and several upcoming gigs in 2024. Along with new DJ performances, new releases are lined up, and several edits will be released on his Soundcloud account in early 2024. He is excited to collaborate with new artists in 2024, while he continues to craft his own very unique sound that pushes boundaries in different genres.
